Let me guide you through your artistic journey.
With my own frustration's as an artist with colour choices that sometimes did not make sense and I kept on painting , adding more colours - that became mud, high costs of products and a huge box of tube colour's that kept on growing. I knew in my own practice I needed to create a framework that would be the base of all my artworks. A framework that was easy to use and still create beautiful vibrant palettes of colour.
The game changer for me.. .Most artists don't need more complex theory; they need a system that actually works on the canvas.
The Butterfly Effect was born out of my own frustrations and the lessons I learned from the "naughty corner" of unfinished paintings.
By laying out a limited palette of primary colours in a specific way, harmony emerges naturally.
